Counterfeit Information
As SLF Motion continues to grow and expand in this market space, a downside of this is when the "wrong people" take notice as well. Unfortunately it has been brought to our attention that there are now Fake/Counterfeit SLF Motion products being sold online. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1) The classic saying - "If the deal is too good to be true, then..." and you know the rest.
2) ONLY purchase your SLF Motion products from AUTHORIZED RETAILERS. If you ever second guess or are concerned about purchasing an SLF Motion product online, please reach out to us and we will do our homework on the reseller to determine its legitimacy.
3) Although we are very proud of the durability of our products, we do need to make mention that ONLY genuine SLF Motion products (that are originally hand built here in Pawnee, Illinois) will be covered under any warranty.
We take great pride in the materials we use for all our products. We have tested many different materials (such as carbon fiber from different suppliers and different bearing configurations) throughout the years. There is a reason we have continued trusting and using our same exact spec'd carbon fiber and bearings throughout those years.
Please consider your options when being tempted to purchase a Fake/Counterfeit SLF Motion product as you are putting your bike's durability and your own safety at risk!
